What is the Silent Alert Care Call System?
Care Call is a discreet wireless alerting system for carers. It offers a rapid and preventative approach to the remote monitoring of dependents at home, in a neighbouring home, or in a care facility. It can allow a person to remain in the familiar surroundings of home for longer, whilst enhancing the carers ability to prevent, or respond instantly, to emergencies. Thus, a carer can enjoy cost-effective peace of mind whilst providing better, faster cover.
How does it work?
A range of discreet wireless transmitters is available, consisting of an Emergency Key Fob Pendant (with fall alarm option), Chair Leaving Alarm, Magnetic Door Alarm, Under Carpet Pressure Pad and Movement Sensor.
Up to twelve areas (or individuals) can be monitored on one SignWave Portable Sound Flasher or Vibrating Pager, with the carer being able to easily identify which specific zone or person has triggered a sensor. In this way, response can be instant and accurate, improving the chances of preventative intervention.
The system has two range options: a 100 metre range for use in the home and garden or at the flick of a switch a longer range option of up to 1000 metres for use in a neighbouring home or large care facility.
All that the Carer needs
A SignWave Portable Sounder Flasher with volume control can be placed within earshot of the Carer.
A small Pager Unit can be worn on the belt or in a pocket. User selectable sound or vibration alert.
Movement Monitor
Simply locate the Movement Monitor CCM3A-2216-EU-PIR on a wall close to a mains socket. Use the sensor pivot to direct the movement sensor to the area you wish to cover. The unit may be located either in a hallway close to a staircase, at the threshold of a room or low down at a bedside and used as a bed leaving alarm.
Emergency Pendant Alarm
A simple press of the button will signal the carer. The Key Fob CCF3A-2219-EU when operated will send a signal to a Pager or SignWave Portable Receiver.
An optional fall alarm feature is also available CCF3A-2219-EU-GFOB. The unit will activate automatically when a shock is detected.
Chair Leaving Alarm
Simply place the pressure pad under a seat cushion and plug in the monitor CCC4A-2212-EU. A signal is sent automatically each time the person rises from the chair.
Mini Magnetic Door Monitor
Simply place the monitor CCD4A-2220-EU on the door frame and the magnet on the door. A signal is sent automatically each time the door is opened. Units can be attached to more than one door and coded to light different keys. A delay is incorporated to avoid false alarms.
Bed Leaving Alarm
Simply place the under carpet pressure pad close to the bedside and plug in the monitor CCM4A-2214-EU. A signal is sent automatically each time the door is opened. Units can be attached to more than one door and coded to light different keys. A delay is incorporated to avoid false alarms.
Wireless Smoke Alarm
A choice of Optical alarm CCS-SMOKE-OPTO or Ionisation alarm CCS-SMOKE-ION, with audible sounder gives essential fire warning in all domestic environments.
Carbon Monoxide Alarm CCS-CO-DETECTOR is also available.
Battery / Charge Status
If the low battery sequence alternates with another event key, that monitor has a low battery.
